Knowing how much our Bard likes imagery, I decided to put together a collage depicting our song so far, but this somewhat spilled over into my own untold story, as – (talk about great but weird and coming full circle) – I’m obliged to be living back in my childhood home for the last year and a half. I started by making a snow angel (haven’t done that in years!) and rimmed it with sand instead of pee for obvious reasons – to incorporate the Sandman, as well as to not make a spectacle out of myself. I then rummaged through the basement finding all sorts of pertinent things for the collage, and each find seemed to give more depth and clarity to my endeavor. Although there were more photos of the evolving collage, (mostly humorous ones) in the end when the box was empty, everything was just a pile of rubble ouside the snow angel with only an empty card left inside, because some words are not disposable, whether you want them to be or not.
