The only issue with this title is that most of the time when Chris sings the song he leaves out tin pan and just says tin man oil can nowhere to stand.
The reason I love this one is that it’s both my ode to Tin Pan Alley (as well as Tin Pan South here in Nashville), and I think of this character as a songwriter and street musician, collecting his tips in a tin pan. I read the lyrics with this in mind and it gave it a whole new flavor. 🙂
wow – that’s cool, Seriously Mel! Song takes on a whole new meaning. Cool.
