My Lyrics

Scientists agree, we are not alone. It's up for some discussion, which planet they call home.
We launch satellites, to navigate our skies. We use telescopes, to accentuate our eyes.
Scientists concur, life is no easy task. We must embrace our future, while learning from our past.
Our children are hungry, our resources lacking. The mothership is descending, we better start packing.
We have little to eat/ The internet's down/Should we shoot for the stars?/or descend to the caves underground?
Why have you come here?/What does this mean?/Should we prepare for war?/or should we stand up and sing?
A spaceship decends/at the edge of our town. The children are giddy/The elders, let down..
I can't comprehend the words you speak/Lost in translation, to me it sounds Greek.
One day soon, we will harken back/and ponder concepts, we could not grasp.
We seek solace from the clouds/ask stars for the answer/we pray to the satellites/to avoid getting cancer.
The satellites view us /beam down their pictures/as it reaches its apogee/the transmission weakens/they circle and circle/in their eliptical nature/What would we do/without this omniscient beacon?
The stars belch and spew their hydrogen gasses. /They are clearly not bashful/Hell, they flash us their asses.
Falling stars and satellites/Who tucks them in their beds at night?
What if the stars made a garage band?/Good luck playing bass with no hands.
