COMPETITION RULES
Submit up to 2 songs and/or up to 2 music videos that highlight both your songwriting skills and musical chops! Then post your song or video on your fave social media platform and have your fans tell us why they want to write a song with you! And be sure to tag Hookist & Reverb Nation so we can check it out!
**YOU MUST HAVE WRITTEN THE SONGS YOU SUBMIT**

Hookist will choose at least 1, but up to 3, Reverb Nation Artists who show exemplary songwriting & performance skills, while demonstrating they recognize the value of engaging with fans in authentic & meaningful ways – and what could be more authentic or meaningful than writing original songs with your fans!
WINNERS
The winner(s) will be invited to lead a global virtual songwriting collaboration using Hookist’s proprietary technology at Hookist.com.
The winner(s) & their collaborations will be featured & promoted on the Hookist home page and on all of Hookist’s social channels throughout the 4-6 week collaboration. Hookist will build a custom songwriting collaboration page for each winner where fans can submit lyrics, and winner(s) and fans can vote & cheer each other on. Winner(s) will also receive a permanent custom profile page at Hookist.com that will link to the winner(s) website, social channels, iTunes, and ticket channels, as well as their favorite charity.
The winner(s) will be required to choose a winning lyric 2x a week throughout the collaboration, and shoot an Inspiration Video & Winner Announcement Videos, which Hookist will edit & publish on all it’s social channels. The winner(s) will be required to publish these edited videos on their social channels as well, which are always a huge thrill for fans!
Winner(s) receive:
- 50% of the profits from the collaboration
- 50% of the publishing of the song (a portion of the remaining 50% of the publishing will pay the fans whose lyrics are chosen to be a part of the song)
- Free one day recording session at Hookist Studios in Manhattan to record the song (travel not included)
