We stand in solidarity with our friends, partners, collaborators & colleagues in the Black community.

As we see it, we are ONE community,and the fight for equality, justice & respect FOR ALLbelongs to all of us.

On Tuesday, June 2nd, we will observe “Black Out Tuesday,” but Hookist will not be dark. In order to ensure we all have a positive creative outlet & a warm community to engage within during this difficult time, lyric submissions will be FREE. Let’s all come together to find common ground and share in our collective grief.

We’ve created this page so we all can share our hopes, feelings and plans to be an ally & fight all forms of racism.

What can you do?
