to support wounded veterans
Mission: Raise significant money & awareness to help meet the life-long needs of tens of thousands of catastrophically wounded American veterans.
Concept: Utilizing Hookist’s cutting-edge online songwriting platform, 4 well-known music artists individually collaborate on 4 original songs with their fans in tribute to the troops!
Proceeds: A la “We Are The World,” the proceeds of the 4 songs will provide long-term income for 4 veterans’ foundations. Hookist will also donate all of the profits from the collaborations, and brand sponsorships will be pursued to allow us to reach audiences on a grand scale and raise as much money as possible.
Logistics: Collaborations happen conveniently online – Summer 2015. Acoustic versions of songs to be released late Summer – early Fall 2015.
Recording: Hookist will donate recording & engineering time as needed to record the songs in its beautiful Manhattan studio.
Video: Hookist & Maddog Films will document the process & provide video footage to artists and media for maximum exposure.
